In this training you learn how to work with the tool kit for The New Way of Working developed by Mastermind. With the tools from the tool kit for The New Way of Working you, your employees and your organisation can build a future proof organisation.

For whom?

The training ‘Working with the tool kit for the New Way of Working´ is meant for managing directors, management, change managers, HRM managers and/or program managers who are (or will be) involved in The New Way of Working within their organisation.

Details

  • Duration: 3 days of which 2 contiguous and 1 day after 3 weeks
  • When: Open subscription, is held bimonthly. See dates for this training (link to upcoming events/ call to action). In case of sufficient participants from one company, the training will be made-to-measure and training dates will be set by mutual arrangement.
  • Cost: € 1.500,- per participant, including material and coaching, excluding travelling expenses and subsistence, excluding VAT.
  • Discount: In case of several participants from the same company.
  • Location: Centre of the country. For In-House trainings the location is set by mutual arrangement.
  • Included: All training material and access to the tool kit for The New Way of Working. Doing a Workplace Innovation Scan and a DISC-assessment is included.
  • Group size: Maximum 20 participants per introduction meeting.

Day 1 (full day)

The first day begins with an introduction of the five cornerstones of The New Way of Working and of the New Way of Managing, modules:

  • Introduction of the five cornerstones;
  • Manager 2.0 and social networks, new media: rules of the game;
  • Best practices: examples of The New Way of Working and the New Way of Managing;
  • Results of the DISC-assessments.

In the second part you are introduced to the tools for The New Way of Working, among which:

  • Workplace innovation scan;
  • Materials for the terms of employment belonging to The New Way of Working;
  • Checklists for the five cornerstones of The New Way of Working;
  • Checklists for the manager 2.0 and the employee 2.0;
  • Rules of the game for networking and using new media;
  • Work schemes for GTD (Getting Things Done);
  • Practical tools for program and project management;
  • Tips for setting up an approach for The New Way of Working;
  • Do’s and don´ts of The New Way of Working.

We conclude the day with a view to the program of day 2 and set up an approach ‘light version’ for our own organisation. We determine which tools are useful for which part of the approach.

During the first day the following questions will be answered:

  • How do I apply the results of the DISC-assessment?
  • What can I do with the tools from the tool kit for The New Way of Working? What will be the benefits?
  • Where do I stand as organisation? (results Workplace Innovation Scan)
  • Where do I stand myself? (checklists manager 2.0 and employee 2.0)
  • How can I include the tools from the tool kit in the approach for The New Way of Working?

Your questions and expectations will also be discussed.

Day 2 (full day)

The second day begins with a short review on day 1 and answering questions on the tool kit. Then we will build the foundation for The New Way of Working in teams. The plans of the first day, the ‘light version’, literally get coloured. For that purpose we use the tools and base ourselves on the five cornerstones of The New Way of Working. The results are presented to each other playfully. Without effort everyone gets acquainted with the use of the tools from the tool kit.

In the afternoon we pay attention to:

  • setting up a project team for The New Way of Working within your organisation;
  • how you can make others work with the tool kit for The New Way of Working (train the trainer);
  • selling yourself.

We conclude with an assignment for the coming weeks.The results will be discussed on day 3. Every participant will get busy with one or several parts of the tool kit and will implement them in his/her organisation.

On the second day the following questions will be answered:

  • How do I set up a project team for The New Way of Working?
  • What is the best way to use the tools from the tool kit in my organisation?
  • How can I make others work with the tools from the tool kit?
  • Which tools will I actually use in the coming weeks?
  • Which management style goes with the manager 2.0? How do I sell myself?
  • Which way of working and attitude go with the employee 2.0?

Day 3 (full day)

The theme of the third day is the assignments carried out after day 2 and the day begins with :

  • A short review on day 1 and day 2
  • A round along the participants to listen to their first experiences with the tools for The New Way of Working.

Supported by a coach the participants work out their organisation´s case and remodel it to a presentation for their companies´ management/board of directors. After the presentation of the results we discuss the filled-in checklists for employee 2.0 and manager 2.0.

At the end of day 3 we determine:

  • whether all questions asked beforehand have been answered
  • whether all participants can work with the tool kit for The New Way of Working
  • which steps every participant can and is going to take.

For all our trainings we work with experienced, qualified trainers, who combine knowledge with a vast experience in the field of The New Way of Working and the New Way of Managing.

To elucidate the best practices it is also possible to invite external speakers from trade and industry
